Andrea Sanders
COO and Controller
Andrea Sanders serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Controller for Hogue Barnett, where she oversees the firm’s daily operations and financial management. She is dedicated to creating efficient systems and processes that enable the team to provide exceptional service to clients and support the firm’s continued growth.
Andrea graduated from the University of North Texas in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Control Systems. She began her career as an Associate Auditor with Weaver and Tidwell, LLP, where she worked from September 1998 to September 2000. Following her time in public accounting, Andrea held Controller and Bookkeeper positions with several small businesses, gaining extensive experience in financial management and operations.
In 2014, Andrea joined Rex Hogue as Controller and Bookkeeper. Following the merger that formed Hogue Barnett in June 2016, she continued in her financial leadership role and assumed responsibility for overseeing the firm’s operations in June 2017. Today, she works closely with the firm’s partners to implement strategic initiatives, manage internal operations, support staff, and ensure the firm’s financial stability.
Outside of the office, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She considers her roles as a wife and mother to be her greatest blessings and treasures the time she shares with her family.
